Mechanical properties of materials
This department performs general tests of mechanical properties, including tension, pressure, impact, bending and hardness testing, and specific tests that are defined based on different standards.
Services that can be provided in the mechanical properties laboratory :
-Tensile test and determination of yield point and ultimate strength and elongation of metal materials
– Bending test according to the standard ASME SEC IX, ASTM E 291 , ASTM E 191
– tensile and proof load and wedge test of bolts and nuts Based on various standards including ISO R 898
– Spring constant test
– Mechanical pressure test
– Hydrostatic and leakage test of tanks and gas capsules
– Charpy impact test based on ASTM E23
